The Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning (PHAC) Program prepares students for entry-level positions in the plumbing, heating and air conditioning industry. Students receive training in all aspects of PHAC systems and water pumps. Internship opportunities, with local employers, provide valuable on-the-job training. Upon successful completion of the one-year program, students receive a PHAC Certificate and have the opportunity to sit for the Journeyman license and industry competency examination.
ºÚÁÏapp | North Central Plumbing, Heating, and Air-conditioning program is in alignment with the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) CIP code 47.0201 Heating, Air Conditioning, Ventilation, and Refrigeration Maintenance Technology/Technician. A program that prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to repair, install, service, and maintain the operating condition of heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Includes instruction in diagnostic techniques, the use of testing equipment and the principles of mechanics, electricity, and electronics as they relate to the repair of heating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
